• What are our hours?

Monday Thru Friday 8:00 A.M to 3:30 P.m. for the month of December with evening appointments available upon request.

Monday Thru Friday 8:00 A.M to 6:00 P.m. starting January 2, 2006 with Saturday appointments available upon request.

Out of season and In Season After Hours Requests are by appointment only.

• What forms of payment do we accept?

Check or Money Order only in our office. No cash will be accepted in our physical location for safety reasons. Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are also accepted in our office for payment thru the secure PayPal.com payment gateway.

• Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are encouraged, although not necessary. Walk ins are welcome on a first come first served basis. Please use the information on the Contact Us Page to make an appointment online or by telephone.

• Is Lisa's Accounting Service qualified to prepare taxes?

  I am currently in good standing with the Internal Revenue Service, The State of Louisiana Revenue Department, as well as any other governmental agencies that regulate the tax preparation industry where I do business. I hereby state that I am not a felon; I am qualified to practice in front of the IRS on your behalf; and I can legally, accurately, and securely e-file your individual income tax returns and print your refund checks in 1-3 days* (*some restrictions may apply). Traditionally prepared - mailed in - tax returns can be done upon request, but are discouraged.

• Why do you use the name "Lisa ???"  ?

Lisa ??? was a nickname given to me when I got married, when they changed the sign in front of the office, they put ??? as my last name because my new name was too long to fit on the sign. This is how most of my clients know me today, Lisa ???.

• What is your real name?

Lisa Ross-Madden, owner of Lisa's Accounting Service LLC.

• Why do you advertise "formerly of Hazel Henry Tax Service"?

It is my legal right to advertise in this manner; there are several reasons I choose to exercise this right, the most important one is to educate the consumer! Some Tax Payers in the Lake Charles area have gone to great lengths, even contacted governmental agencies, seeking my contact information to establish a business relationship with Lisa's Accounting Service. I advertise "formerly of Hazel Henry Tax Service" as a service to the community, making me easier to find and identify for those seeking out my services.

• What can I do if I feel I was treated unfairly by my Tax Preparer?

  As with any business there are several places you can go to file your grievances if you feel you were treated unfairly.
